Rental Policy
All Orders sent to Fun Sign Surprise LLC. are subject to the following terms.
If for any reason we cannot setup the signs due to circumstances beyond our control such as extreme weather or any unsafe condition or something that might cause damage to us or our signs, we will notify you and set up a rescheduled install.
If we are asked to remove the signs or not install signs by the recipient at the time of installation, the sale is considered final and an email will be sent to you letting you know of the refusal.
If the recipient would like signs to be removed sooner than the requested pick-up date we will do our best to accommodate this request.
Liability of Renter
Signs & their installation will create holes in the ground & may cause damage to small flowers, bushes or other lawn ornaments.
You, The Renter, assume all responsibility for any and all damage caused by signs and their installation.
Privacy Policy
Fun Sign Surprise may display a photo on the website of the actual character display which was set on your lawn when it was completed to show as a sample. Fun Sign Surprise will not share the information from your order form with any other agency or outside party nor will we disclose this rental agreement with the recipient (no matter how much they beg).
Full Service Delivery Info
Our Display Setup & Pickup times are scheduled for business days, Monday through Friday anytime between 8am and 7pm. The time in which the Signs are delivered are dependent upon the following factors: Amount of orders, route we take to deliver our orders and whether the signs need to be picked up first before being delivered. You may give us a time for delivery and we will do our best to accommodate it BUT We cannot guarantee it will be delivered during this time.
Example of a 3 day rental: setup on Friday and picked up on Monday. Example of a seven day rental: setup on Friday and picked up on the Thursday. We may delay pick up upon scheduling conflicts on the pick up date. We will not charge for additional days if we delay pick up.
Customer or Recipient is NOT required to be on site. If there are no specific instructions to the location or placement of the signs for setup, then we will setup your display to obtain the most visibility. Please be aware that we will NOT relocate signs once they are setup. We also will not set up close to roads and sidewalks or any other public property that could potentially put our signs in harms way.
If we cannot find the home or if for any reason we cannot gain access to the yard of the home then we will call you to determine the best course of action.
Keepsake Items
If upon pick up of the Signs there are any missing, we will charge the card on file for any missing signs.
Do It Yourself Rentals
We are happy to ship the Signs to you so that you can surprise the recipient with our Fun Signs, but, the following terms need to be reviewed so that both you and us are happy after the rental is over.
1. We MUST receive all items that were sent to you back in a timely fashion. Failure to ship all items back to us will result in your credit card being charged for the replacement fee of the items not sent back. Large Banners will cost $75 each to replace and small signs cost $12 each to replace. Sign Posts will cost $20 to replace and stakes cost $20 to replace. If we do not receive the entire packge back with all contents of the order, your card will be charged a total of $355.00 for the replacement value of all items shipped.
2. The rental period does not include shipping times. If you order a 3 day rental, total time away from us should be 5 days. Any time period extending beyond 5 days will be charged at $15 for each additional day. Beyond 12 days we will charge your card full replacement value for all the items not returned. For 7 day rentals, total time away from us should be 9 days. Any time period extending beyond 9 days will be charged at $15 for each additional day. Beyond 12 days we will charge your card full replacement value for all the items not returned.
3. We cannot be held responsible for delays in shipping due to UPS or any other shipping companies. If your package arrives late, please call us and we can extend the rental period. If the package is lost by UPS, call us and we can ship another package to you as soon as possible. Please be aware that we will do everything we can do provide you with your rental. If for whatever reason we are unable to correct any shipping errors by UPS, then we will refund the order. But we will try to correct the problems before any refunds are made.
4. Your credit card will be kept on file in case any signs go missing or damaged. By providing us with your credit card information you are giving us authorization to charge any fees for missing or damaged signs to your card. We will email you a receipt of the transaction if we charge your card.
5. If we attempt to charge your card for any fees and it comes back declined, we will attempt to collect the debt by mail or by court. You will be responsible for any late fees and court fees including any lawyer fees.
Do It Yourself Shipping Info & Costs
Please provide the date you want package delivered. UPS delivers anytime during the day so be aware that if you need package delivered before a certain time on the date you are requesting that it would be impossible for UPS to guarantee a specific delivery time of the package. If you want to guarantee delivery of the package before 10:30am then you must select UPS Next Day Shipping. Otherwise if you select UPS Ground, the package could arrive anytime during the day on the date you request for delivery of the package.
Errors/Omissions/Corrections
If customer gives us wrong personalization info, sign choice or delivery address, we will charge a delivery fee to correct the error. If we make a mistake on an order, we will fix it free of charge. We will accommodate the change depending upon or availability in our delivery schedule.
